WMMC is hosting a blood drive Tuesday, July 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Western Missouri Medical Center, 403 Burkarth Rd, Warrensburg.

Donors must be at least 16 years old and in good health. Minors under the age of 17 must have their parent’s consent to participate.

Donors age 16-18 are subject to additional height and weight restrictions. Donors age 76 and older can continue to donate blood if they meet all donor criteria and present a physician’s letter allowing them to donate.

It is recommended that donors get a good night’s sleep, eat a good meal and drink plenty of fluids before donating.
