Felton Ray Watson, 80, died Sunday, Nov. 22, at home.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24, at Ben Cast & Son-Wood Funeral Home.
Felton was born Feb. 24, 1935, in Tuscumbia, Alabama, the son of Charles Watson and Ada Belle (Posey) Watson. Charles moved to the Holden, Missouri, area 55 years ago and worked for Stahl Specialty Company as a foreman.
Felton was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Delores Ilene Watson; and one son, Sidney Hurt. He is survived by three sons, Terry Hurt, of Holden; David Ray Watson, of Kingsville, Missouri; three daughters, Maurita McCarty, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Shelli Gustin, of Holden; Kimberli Watson, of Holden; three brothers, Paul Watson, of Holden; Kenneth Watson, of Clarksville, Arkansas; Phil Watson, of Clarksville; one sister, Gloria; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made in memory of Felton Ray Watson to Ben Cast & Son-Wood Funeral Home.
