(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) — Former Central Missouri All-American tight end DeMarco Cosby has a free agent contract with the NFL’s Tennessee Titans, according to a news release.
The Kansas City, Mo., native was a first team All-MIAA, All-Region and All-American pick for the Mules as a senior in 2010 when he hauled in 71 passes for 970 yards and 10 touchdowns.
All three totals are single-season school records for a tight end. He also holds the UCM career record for receptions by a tight end (141), receiving yards for a tight end (2,146) and touchdowns by a tight end (20). He finished his career as a three-time All-American.
Cosby spent parts of the past two seasons on practice squads for the St. Louis Rams, Green Bay Packers and Kansas City Chiefs.
The Titans opened training camp Thursday. Cosby joins another former UCM tight end, Delanie Walker, on the Titans roster.
