Frances Jane Williams, 94, of Centerview, Missouri, died Aug. 21, at Country Club Care Center in Warrensburg.
Funeral Services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25 at the Warrensburg Veterans Home with Rev. Henry Gower Officiating. Interment followed at Warrensburg Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Family and friends were received from 1 p.m. until service time, Saturday at the Veterans Home.
Frances was born Oct. 17, 1923, at Centerview, the daughter of Frank W. and Ada B. (Repp) Goodwin.
She graduated from Centerview High School. She was united in marriage to Lorenzo “Wilton” Williams on Feb. 20, 1949. Frances was a member of the Holden Presbyterian Church. She was a devoted farm wife. Jane enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers.
Survivors include her husband, Wilton; son, Wendell (Janette) Williams of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; daughter, Jerilyn (Mike) Hatfield of Lee’s Summit; brother, Glen (Cathy) Goodwin of Centerview; five grandchildren, Justin (Heather) Hatfield of Raytown, Missouri; Jennifer (Ryan) Chambers of Blue Springs, Missouri; Jolene Hatfield of Lee’s Summit; Lee Anne (Jordan) Johnson of Ft. Meyers, Florida; and Lauren Jane Williams of Lee’s Summit; and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Wayne Allen Williams; and brother, Garnett Goodwin.
Memorial Contributions are suggested to the Holden Presbyterian Church. Arrangements entrusted to Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg.
