Frances P. Barnard, 74, of Knob Noster, Missouri, died Tuesday, Dec. 8, at Fair View Nursing Home in Sedalia.

Memorial services will be 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, at Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg with John Collins officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral chapel.

Frances was born Aug. 23, 1941, in Wilson, Oklahoma, the daughter of Wendel and Ruth (Sermons) Smith. In 1951, she moved with her parents to Warrensburg. She graduated from Warrensburg High School. Frances was united in marriage to William Barnard in 1981 in Miami, Oklahoma. She had been in retail for the majority of her life. She was store manager of Payless Shoes in Warrensburg for several years. Frances loved dancing, camping, crocheting, going to casinos and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, William; son, Raymond Eugene Minor, and wife, Sue, of Wichita, Kansas; three daughters, Becky Brockway, and husband, Ron, of Sedalia, Missouri; Vicki Looney and husband, Rick, of Freeman, Missouri; and Kimberly Daugherty, of La Cygne, Kansas; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter, Lakelynn Gail Pummill.
