Frederick E. Patterson

Frederick “Rick” E. Patterson, 58, of Knob Noster, Mo., died Wednesday, April 16, at KU Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan.

Visitation services will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, April 21, at Sweeney-Phillips and HoldFrederick E Pattersonen Funeral Home in Warrensburg, with memorial services following with Brother Charles officiating.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Lukemia Society and can be left in care of the funeral home.

He was born March 26, 1956, in Maryville, Mo., the son of Eugene and Idalynn (Guthrie) Patterson. On Oct. 8, 1993, he was united in marriage to Jo Dee Cleveland in Warrensburg, Mo. Rick worked as tow truck driver for Tip Top Towing in Warrensburg for several years. He loved going to his grandchildren’s games and being with his friends. Rick’s hobbies included fishing, riding motorcycles, restoring and painting automobile vehicles. He loved spending time with his family and his grandchildren.

Rick is survived by his wife, Jo Dee; two daughters, Kristy Fuller and husband, Tyson and Jessica Patterson, all of Knob Noster; one son, Rustie Patterson and wife, Theresa of Warrensburg; three brothers, Randy Patterson of Garden City, Kan., Roger Hornecker of Andover, Kan. and Robbie Hornecker of Ft. Morgan, Co.; one sister, Melissa Huff of Greeley, Co.; his mother, Idalynn Hornecker of Ft. Morgan and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Patterson, and his step-father, Jerald Hornecker.
