Helen Lucille Koetting, 80, of Holden, Missouri, died Jan. 8,at Lee’s Summit Medical Center, in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.
Visitation will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, at Ben Cast & Son-Wood Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Ben Cast & son-Wood Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Hackett officiating.
Helen was born July 19, 1935, to Joseph William Wright and Lily Pearl (Hedrick) Wright in Independence, Missouri. Helen married Jim Koetting on Oct. 31, 1978, and moved to Holden 36 years ago. Helen worked for Calmar in Lee’s Summit and retired as a quality control supervisor.
Surviving her passing is her husband of 37 years, Jim Koetting, of the home; one son, Martin Bosch, of Strasburg, Missouri; two daughters, Karen Nichols and husband, Dennis, of Basehor, Kansas; Kasey Koetting and Jason Gower, of Holden; five grandchildren, which include Cody Bruns and Jaci Gower; and three great-grandchildren.
Helen was preceded in death by her first husband Norman H. Bosch; stepson; James D. Koetting; three brothers, Clyde Wright, Joseph Wright and John Wright; and four sisters, Mollie Urton, Edna Wright, Mary L. Wright and Eloise Wright.
Memorial contributions can be made in honor of Helen Koetting to the Holden Senior Center.
