(WARRENSBURG, Mo., digitalBURG) – High winds in the area are responsible for property damage affecting local residents.
The Warrensburg Fire Department and technicians from Kansas City Power & Light (KCP&L) responded to an uprooted tree at 337 Christopher St. in Warrensburg on Sunday Feb. 10 at around 1:30 p.m. The tree toppled over on a car causing significant damage to the vehicle. Slight damage was caused to the home at 339 Christopher St.
According to the fire department’s incident report – responders discovered an electrical power line in the roadway upon arrival. Nearby homes were without power. Electricity was restored around 3:45 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 11.
