James Wesley “Jim” Prince, 62, died on Thursday, Jan. 4, in Warrensburg, Missouri.
A celebration of Jim’s life will be announced at a later date. Contributions may be made to the Jim Prince Memorial Fund. Checks can be made payable to Paula Prince and can be left in care of Sweeney-Phillips and Holdren Funeral Home.
Jim was born on Jan. 8, 1955, in Warrensburg, the son of Wilfred and Dorothy (Lockard) Prince. He graduated from Leeton High School in the class of 1974. He was employed by UCM and at Mahindra Tractor Company. He was a member of Grace Community Church.
He enjoyed outdoor activities like mushroom hunting, rabbit hunting and arrowhead hunting. He also loved to drink coffee, take naps and had a great sense of humor.
Survivors include his son, Curtis, and daughter, Misty, of Springfield, Missouri; grandsons, Dakota and Raymond; brothers, Donald and his wife Diane, Merle, Harvey, Tim, and Dewayne and his wife Paula; sisters, Brenda Blum and her husband Tim, Kathleen Prince, and Karen Haught and her husband Raymond; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wilfred; mother, Dorothy; brother, Derrell and sister, Sandra.
