Jeffery Dee Baker, 59, of Warrensburg, Missouri, died unexpectedly Sunday, May 14, at Lee’s Summit Medical Center.

There will be a memorial visitation from 6-8 p.m. Friday, May 19, at Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg.

Jeff was born Aug. 7, 1957, in Warrensburg, the son of Robert L. and Martha F. (Waltz) Baker. He graduated from Warrensburg High School. He was united in marriage to Terrie L. Martin on Aug. 7, 1976, in Warrensburg. Jeff was a lifelong Warrensburg resident. He owned and operated C & S Towing & Auto Repair for several years. For the past 25 years, he did maintenance work on rental properties in the area. Jeff’s hobbies included car racing, camping, fishing and especially time spent with family at the couple’s lake house.

Survivors include his wife, Terrie; daughter, Amie Hansen and husband, Brent; son, Jeremiah Baker and wife, Misty; five grandchildren, Gabby Hansen, Camren Hansen, Alli Baker, Brooke Baker and Miah Baker; father, Robert Baker; and brother, Bob Baker and wife, Julie, all of Warrensburg, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha, and sister, Gwen Grotzinger.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Jeffery Baker Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
