Leonard George Kucher, 87, of Warrensburg, Mo., died Monday, Jan. 28, at Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.

Cremation is under the direction of Ben Cast & Son – Wood Funeral Home, of Holden, Mo.

He was born Nov. 11, 1925, in Jersey City, N.J., the son of Joseph and Lillian Kucher.  He was a graduate of Montana State University and recently lived in Raytown and Lee’s Summit, Mo., before moving to Warrensburg 1 1/2 years ago.  He had worked as an egg wholesaler, a trucker, and an automatic laundry owner.

Leonard is survived by one son, Leonard James Kucher, of Florida; four daughters, Susan Muller, of Flemington, N.J., Lillian Davis, of Lee’s Summit, Marianne Tammera, of N.J., and Carolyn Kucher, of N.Y.; and 11 grandchildren.

A son, Michael Joseph Kucher, preceded him in death.
