Linda Leigh Jacobs, 65, of Holden, Missouri, died Sunday, March 19, at her home.

There will be a memorial gathering from 3-4 p.m. Saturday, March 24, at Williams Funeral Chapel in Holden immediately followed by a brief prayer service at 4 p.m. led by Walter Snyder, chaplain at Johnson County Hospice.
There will be a private interment at Hunter Cemetery in Rockport, Missouri, at a later date.
Linda was born Dec. 15, 1952, in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Ernest Monroe Simon and Lela June (Franke) Simon. She graduated from Ruskin High School in Kansas City and graduated from Longview Community College with a degree in business management. She had a four-year business management degree from Glen Cullen University in Dublin, Ireland. Linda had resided all over the country until moving to the Pittsville community several years ago. She was united in marriage to Roy Eugene Jacobs on Dec. 25, 2012, in Holden. Her hobbies included bowling, puzzles and computer gaming.
Survivors include her husband, Roy; stepdaughter, Bree Parker and husband, Paul, of LaMonte, Missouri; sister, Judy Kratz and husband, Terry, of Blue Springs, Missouri; and two grandchildren, Jacob R. Dixson and Elektra A. Parker and three nieces and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents and half brother, Lawrence Kanoy.
