Linda Marlyane Buesing, 71, of Warrensburg, died Aug. 24, at Lee’s Summit Medical Center.
Funeral services were held 10 a.m. Aug. 29, at Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home with Pastor Biesemeyer officiating. Interment followed the service in St. John’s United Church of Christ Cemetery in Emma, Missouri. Pallbearers were John Taylor III, Tim Taylor, Charles Taylor, Mike Callaway, Raymond Ranjel and Donnie Holt, Jr. Honorary pallbearers were John Buesing, Marvin Buesing, Gary Buesing, Rick Pilkington, William Moore and James Pelton.
Family received friends from 6-8 p.m., Aug. 28, at the funeral home.
Linda was born in Leavenworth, Kansas, on April 9, 1947, the daughter of John and Minnie (Green) Holt. Linda lived and worked in Warrensburg her whole life. Linda married Al Eslinger, who preceded her in death. She later met Larry Buesing, and they united in marriage on Sept. 14, 1999.
Linda loved life. She had a special place in her heart for children. She enjoyed a full house of family and friends. She loved working on the farm with Larry and spending time with her flowers and her chickens. She will be remembered for her love of baking, her collection of knick-knacks and her love of color art.
Survivors include her husband, Larry, of the home; brother, Donald Holt and wife Carol, of Warrensburg; sisters, Barbara Poe, of Warsaw, Missouri, Kathryn Crane and husband Butch of Warsaw, Christine Jones and husband, Bobby, of Warsaw and Deborah Jennings of Warrensburg.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, her parents and her siblings.
