Lois Marie Turner, 67, of Warrensburg, Missouri, died Saturday, Nov. 14, at Country Club Care Center.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, at Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home in Warrensburg with Brother Charles Brant officiating. Pallbearers will be Tim Williams, Michael Clements, Keith Clements, Aaron Clements and John Dunn.
Interment will follow at Warrensburg Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20, at the funeral home.
She was born Aug. 6, 1948, in Independence, Missouri, the daughter of Siegel and Beulah (Weekly) Clements.
She was united in marriage to William Luther Turner on April 4, 1968, in the United Methodist Church in Knob Noster, Missouri. He preceded her in death on Aug. 18, 2000.
Lois graduated from Knob Noster High School, class of 1966. She then attended Central Missouri State University for two years. Lois worked as a night clerk at the Whiteman Inn. She enjoyed embroidering, playing cards, traveling, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was elected and served as city collector of Knob Noster. Lois was a member of the Ridge Runner Camping Club and a member of the United Methodist Church of Knob Noster.
Lois is survived by two daughters, Judy Williamson and husband, Eric, of McAllen, Texas; and Sandy Bowman and husband, Rick, of Stover, Missouri; one sister, Margel Harrison, and husband, James, of Concordia, Missouri; one stepsister, Pat Phelps, and husband, Jack, of Holden, Missouri; one brother, Steve Clements, of Springfield, Missouri; one stepbrother, Ed Clement, of Georgia; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Bill Clements; one daughter, Lisa Smith; and one grandson, David Smith.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Kidney Foundation and can be left at the funeral home.
