Lucille Rebecca Woodson, 88, of Warrensburg died Saturday, Aug. 4, at Warrensburg Manor Care Center.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8 at Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Warrensburg Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from noon until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.

Lucille was born Oct. 27, 1929, in Butler, Missouri, the daughter Franklin “Frank” and Florence Ellen (Deardorff) Nichol.

On Aug. 8, 1959, she and Robert Lee Woodson were united in marriage at the First Baptist Church of Warrensburg.

Lucille is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth “Ellen” Brown and husband Jerry, of Warrensburg; Patsy Eickelmann of Warrensburg; a son, Kevin Woodson of Sedalia, Missouri; and a brother, Johnny Nichol of Warrensburg. She is also survived by four grandchildren, four great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; her parents Frank and Florence Nichol; a sister, Louise Kendrick; a brother, Robert Nichol; and a son-in-law, Walter Eickelmann.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and can
be left in care of the funeral home.
