(WARRENSBURG, Mo.)–

Josh McVicar, hypnotist and magician, came to UCM last Tuesday to perform for about 160 students in a Spotlight event.

McVicar is from O’Fallon, Missouri. He started doing magic and hypnosis in high school, then in college working six nights per week.

He said he unfortunately doesn’t get to see his family much due to being on the road, but he couldn’t imagine doing anything else with his life.

He said he loves touring colleges because he gets to do different types of material that he isn’t allowed to do at other venues, such as complicated and confusing magic and jokes he can’t get away with at corporate environments.
