Marion “Joyce” Speas, 88, of Warrensburg, Missouri died Monday, June 5, at Country Club Care Center in Warrensburg.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, June 9th at First Christian Church in Warrensburg with Rev. Jerry Basye officiating.

Interment will follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Warrensburg.
Pallbearers will be David Handly, Bruce Howey, Joe Good, Chad Stewart, Christopher Stockus and Henry Janssen III. Honorary Pallbearers will be Don Hoover, Art Norton and Ray Raynes.
There will be a PEO service 6 p.m., Thursday, followed by visitation until 8 p.m. at Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg.
Joyce was born on Oct. 12, 1928, in Johnson County, Missouri, the daughter of Charles Marion Iseminger and Mary E. Stockton Iseminger. She was a 1946 College High School graduate and she had attended Central Missouri State Teachers College for two years, both in Warrensburg.
On June 8, 1947, Joyce married Cecil Delbert Speas in Warrensburg. He preceded her in death on April 11, 1989.
She was a Program Assistant for the Agricultural Stabilization Conservation Service (ASCS) from 1960 to 1990; from 1946 to 1948, she was an office clerk at the License Bureau, both in Warrensburg. Joyce taught school in the Centerview School District from 1950 to 1953.
She was a member of First Christian Church, Christian Women’s Fellowship (CWF) and she served on the church board. She was a member of PEO Chapter CB, ABC Club, numerous bridge clubs and she volunteered for Meals on Wheels.
Joyce is survived by two daughters: Marlene Janssen and husband, Henry, of Kirksville, MO; and Carman Stockus and husband, Anthony, of Westover, MD; four grandchildren: Chad Stewart, Christopher Stockus, Henry Janssen III and Carly Stockus and seven great-grandchildren. Joyce was also preceded in death by a son, Robert Charles Speas on January 21, 1954, and a brother, Charles Earl Iseminger on March 29, 1983.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Church and may be left in the care of the funeral home.
