(KANSAS CITY, Mo., AP) — Kansas City police say several people sustained minor injuries when a Kansas City Area Transportation Authority bus collided with two cars on Bannister Road near U.S. 71.
The crash happened around 7:45 a.m. Tuesday in the westbound lanes of Bannister Road when the bus pulled away from a bus stop and collided with a car trying to make a left turn onto Bannister. Police say the car was pushed into a second car.
Six ambulances were sent to the scene, but police say all of the injuries appeared to be minor. Two children were among those taken to a hospital.
