Nita Louise Page, 73, of Holden, Missouri, died Dec. 18, at Jefferson Health Care in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.

Nita was born June 21, 1942, in Concordia, Missouri, to Macharold Higgins and Nita Hosman Higgins. She married Dale Page and moved to Holden in 1969 where she spent most of her married life as a homemaker. Nita loved to weave baskets and was a member of the Missouri Basket Weavers Guild. Nita was a member of the Holden First Presbyterian Church.

Nita is survived by her husband, Dale Page, of the home; two daughters, Carla Jean Henry, and husband, Charles, of Gravois Mills, Missouri; Paula Ann McBride and husband, John, of Holden; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Nita was preceded in death by her parents, Macharold and Nita Higgins; one son, Michael Dale Page; one brother, Johnny Higgins; and one sister, Kitty Lee Hoefer.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 23, at Ben Cast & Son-Wood Funeral Home.
