(MARSHALL, Mo., AP) — Cargill Meat Solutions is undertaking a $15 million expansion of its facility in Marshall by adding a new production line for its meat products.
Gov. Jay Nixon said Tuesday the expansion could mean an additional 50 jobs over the next year.
The Missouri Department of Economic Development says the project could receive up to $445,000 of incentives.
Last week, Nixon helped dedicate a $9 million expansion of the SCD Probiotics facility near downtown Kansas City. He said that project could create 62 new jobs.
The Department of Economic Development said SCD Probiotics could receive more than $1 million of state incentives and loans through various programs.
