Patricia Burge, 81, of Warrensburg, died Saturday, July 2, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home with Brother Charles Brant officiating. Interment will follow in Sutton Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Danny, Bradley and Christina Ballenger, Bill Duncan, Jr., Jennifer and Zoe Duncan, and Billie Duncan III. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Patricia was born December 29, 1934 in Warrensburg, the daughter of George and Alice Fern (Holloway) Warden.

In 1952, she and Raymond Larkerbrink were married in Warrensburg.

On March 27, 1964, she and Otis Burge were united in marriage in Warrensburg. He preceded her in death on January 22, 1995.

Patricia was a graduate of Warrensburg High School in 1952. She worked at Town and Country Shoe Factory, at Unitog, and at Sprint as an operator, in collections, and then in dispatching, retiring in 1997 with 22 years of service. Life experiences include working as a cook in a gold mine in Idaho and as a truck driver with her husband, Otis. She loved quilting and her dogs.

Patricia is survived by two daughters, Vicki Fitterling and husband, Gary, of Warrensburg, and Raylene Ballenger and husband, Phil, of Knob Noster, Missouri; a son, Carl Dean Larkerbrink, of Warrensburg; a brother, Jerry D. Warden and wife, Cathy, of Bartlett, Illinois; a sister, JoAnn Copas Bryant and husband, Jim, of Jefferson City, Missouri; two granddaughters, Jennifer Duncan, of Warrensburg, and Christina Ballenger of Pittsburg, Kansas; two step grandsons, Danny Ballenger of Warrensburg, and Bradley Ballenger of Buckner, Missouri; three great grandchildren and three step great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one granddaughter, Theresa Fitterling.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Sutton Cemetery Fund or Johnson County Hospice and can be left in care of the funeral home.
