Peggy Sue Ferris, 80, of Holden, Mo., died Monday, Dec. 2 at Holden Manor Care Center.

She was born June 26, 1933, in Ohio, Mo., a daughter of Lloyd and Lydia Faye (Underwood) Belew. Peggy graduated from high school in Chilhowee, Mo. She married George Howard Bush in Bentonville, Ark., on Oct. 9, 1950. He preceded her in death on Oct. 9, 1970. She married Warren Ferris in Holden on Feb. 26, 1973. Peggy and George operated a restaurant in Kingsville. After his death, she managed the Foundry Kitchen restaurant in Kingsville. She had lived in Holden since 1980.

Surviving her passing are her husband, Warren Ferris, of the home; two sons, Kelly Bush (Tammy) of Kingsville; and Christopher Bush (Vicki) of St. Joseph, Mo.; one daughter, Monica Browning (Charles) of Lee’s Summit, Mo.; one brother, Vernon Belew of Enid, Okla.; two sisters, Doris Beaty of Windsor, Mo.; and Carol Rush, of Arkansas; six grand children; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 6 at Ben Cast & Son – Wood Funeral Home in Holden. Interment will be in Kingsville Cemetery.
