Tops in Blue, a musical group that performs around the globe as ambassadors for the United States Air Force, entertained a local audience when it took the stage Thursday, Aug. 9, in the University of Central Missouri Multipurpose Building.

An  all active-duty U.S. Air Force special unit that was founded 59 years ago, Tops  in Blue has performed previously at the university and in nearby communities  such as Sedalia. The group consists of about 35-40 vocalists, musicians,  dancers, and technicians who are specially selected for their talents and  skills, and who train at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland Air Force Base, Texas.
