Richard Young, 67, of Holden, Mo., died Wednesday, April 2, at home.  

Following cremation, there will be a memorial service at 11 a.m. Monday, April 7, at Ben Cast & Son – Wood Funeral Home in Holden.

He was born in Seattle, Wash., on Oct. 30, 1946, and had lived in Elwood, Kan., and Independence, Mo., before moving to Holden eight years ago.

Richard enjoyed his family, playing pool with “Off In the Corner” pool team, and making the most out of life. He leaves his wife, Judith Young, of the home; children, Stephania Santana of Holden; and Russell Young of Independence; brother, Gary Young, of Darrenton, Wash.; sister, Vickie Moore, of Pryor, Okla.; and four grandchildren, Brittany Santana, Anna Santana, Randell Young and Reilly Young.
