Rosalie Lenora Hilke, 93, Lee’s Summit, Missouri, formally of Holden, Missouri, died Sept. 21, at St. Luke’s East.
Visitation was held 9:30 a.m. Sept. 27 at Our Lady of The Presentation Catholic Church Thursday followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of The Presentation Catholic Church 130 NW Murry Rd.
Rosalie was born Dec. 25, 1924, to Anthony Daldrup and Viola Ann (Richter) Hilke in Urich, Missouri. She married Leo Hilke and had six children. Rosalie worked in Holden as a florist for two local flower shops before moving to Lee’s Summit 38 years ago. After moving to Lee’s Summit, Rosalie worked in healthcare as a nurse’s aid. She was a member of the Our Lady of The Presentation Catholic Church in Lee’s Summit.
Surviving her passing are one son, Paul Hilke and wife Kathy, Holden; three daughters, Donna Wheeldon and husband Jack, Indepedence, Missouri; Jean Marie Meads and husband David, Warrensburg; Ruth Crigger, Overland Park, Kansas; two sisters, Audria Martin, Blue Springs, Missouri, Margaret Ellen Thomason, Holden; nine grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
Rosalie was preceded in death by her parents, one son Robert Hilke, one daughter, Sheila Hilke, and two brothers, Jim Daldrup and Eugene Daldrup.
Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Rosalie Hilke to Our Lady of The Presentation Catholic Church Building Fund.
