Sarah Emeline Carson, 75, of Holden, Missouri, died Jan. 5, at her home.Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 8, at Holden Cemetery, with Pastor Tim Whitmore officiating.

Sarah was born Feb. 21, 1942, to Hirum Colvin Clark and Etta Emeline (Leggett) Clark in Bellvediere, Illinois. She graduated from Holden High School in 1959 and married Raymond Leland Carson August 30, 1960, in Long Beach, California.

He preceded her in death March 25, 1999. Also preceding her in death are two brothers Henry Clark and John Pierson, and one sister Ann Clark. Sarah is survived by one son, Walter Carson, Lee’s Summit; two daughters, Cindy Dameron and husband Chris Spring Valley, California and Julie Carson-Smith and husband Melvin, Holden Missouri; one brother Laverne Clark and wife Connie, Arkansas, one sister Loretta Chapman, Colorado; 13 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made to Twin Lakes Hospice in memory of Sarah E. Carson.
