Sherri Raye Jones, 51, of Holden, Missouri, died Sunday, May 3, at St. Luke’’s East Hospital in Lee’’s Summit.

Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 6, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Holden with Father Pete Savidge officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.

Sherri was born Jan. 8, 1964, in Warrensburg, the daughter of Bobby R. Jones and Linda S. (Gardner) Jones. She graduated from Holden High School and attended the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg. Sherri was a lifelong Holden resident. She was an avid reader. She adored her beautiful cat, C.C.

Survivors include her parents, Bob and Linda Jones, of Holden; brother, Brian Jones, of Raytown, Missouri; aunts and uncles, Sandra and Allen Dean, of Holden; Bob and Janice Gardner, of Chilhowee, Missouri; Shirley Feldman, of Centerview, Missouri; Gary Childers and special aunt, Lanie Childers, both of Clinton, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents.

Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Patrick’s Building Fund.
