Sierra Jade (King) Miller

Sierra Jade (King) Miller, 35, of Warrensburg, formerly of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, died Sept. 14, at her mother’s home in Warrensburg.

A celebration of Life Service will be 11 a.m. Sept. 22 at Grover Park Baptist Church in Warrensburg with Rev. Dr. Randall Neal officiating.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Sierra was born Oct. 17, 1982 in Warrensburg, the daughter of Samuel A. and Gabrielle A. (Weber) King. She was raised in Lee’s Summit, Missouri having graduated from Lee’s Summit North High School. She attended Longview Community College. Sierra received her cosmetology license at House of Heavilin in Raymore, Missouri. She lived in Pleasant Hill, Missouri for a year, prior to moving to Raymore. She also resided in Belton, Missouri and Blue Springs, Missouri before returning to Warrensburg.

Sierra loved all kinds of music, cutting hair and watching movies. She was a member of Grover Park Baptist Church where she was baptized. Sierra was also a member of Freedom of Road Riders, Local number 33.

Survivors include her son, Austen Miller of Pleasant Hill, Missouri; mother, Gabrielle of Warrensburg; father, Sam of Warrensburg; paternal grandfather, Tom King of Warrensburg; maternal grandparents, David and Anny Weber of Bella Vista, Arkansas; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Elaine D. King.

Memorial Contributions are suggested to Johnson County Cancer Foundation.
