The Crest Ridge girls’ basketball team used a strong first-half to defeat Holden 40-36 Friday on the road.
“This was a hard-fought win,” said coach Katie Woolsey. “We had a great start to the game, which gave us the edge we needed to win the game. It was a 1-point game with 1 minute left and the girls did a good job of executing to get the win.”
Crest Ridge led 22-16 at the half.
Bre Wonderly had 14 points and six rebounds for Crest Ridge. Lily Hunter had 10 points and five rebounds.
