Theresa Dee Wilson, 53, of Holden, Missouri, died March 27 at St. Luke’s East in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.

A memorial service will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday, March 31, at Ben Cast & Son-Wood Funeral Home.

Theresa was born Sept. 3, 1962, to Arthur Raymond Kauer and Nancy Lou (McCaulley) Kauer. Theresa was a high school graduate of William Chrisman High School in 1980. She married Ricky Wilson March 20, 1982, and they moved to the Holden area in 1999. Theresa worked for the Bank of Holden as a bank teller and for a short period of time was a member of the Holden Saddle Club.

She is survived by her husband, Ricky Wilson, of the home; her mother, Nancy Kauer, of Kearney, Missouri; one son, Leaman Wilson, of Smithville, Missouri; two daughters, Cassandra Brown, and husband, Cory, of Holden; Jessica Wilson, of Independence, Missouri; one brother, David Kauer, and wife, Linda, of Kansas City, Missouri; one sister, Rebecca Roberts, and husband, Jeffrey, of Kearney, Missouri; mother-in-law Joy Wilson; and five grandchildren.
