Tina Marie (McCubbin) Brewer, 46, of Adrian, Missouri, formerly of Holden, died Thursday, April 7, at Bates County Memorial Hospital in Butler.

A memorial service will be 7 p.m. Thursday, April 14, at Williams Funeral Chapel in Holden with Pastor Mike Wakeman officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Tina was born April 15, 1969, in Compton, California, the daughter of Jimmy Ray McCubbin and Dorothy Jean (Bryan) McCubbin. She graduated from Holden High School. She married Tim Scot Brewer on April 29, 1990, in East Lynne, Missouri, and the couple moved to Harrisonville. Shortly after their daughter Sarah was born, they resided in Archie. Sadie was born six years later and the family made their home in Adrian. Tina did custodial work at McEowen Elementary in Harrisonville for several years. Later, she worked in housekeeping at Cass County Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville. She loved fishing, camping with family and friends, gardening, tanning and most everything else involving being outdoors.

Survivors include two daughters, Sarah Brewer and friend, Kenneth Anderson, of Harrisonville; and Sadie Brewer and friend, James Naylor, of Adrian; father, Jimmy Ray McCubbin, of Edwards, Missouri; sister, Connie Wright, of Holden; and significant other, Donald Hobbs, of Adrian. She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy, and also her grandparents.

 

Memorial contributions are suggested to Tina M. Brewer Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
