Treva K. Wille, 72, of Warrensburg, Missouri, died Saturday, June 4, at her home.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 8, at Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg with Pastor Jeremy Dunlap officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery in Warrensburg.  Pallbearers will be Chad Eickleberry, Shawn Guinn, Brandon Ward, Ryan Roberts, Rick Swisher and Bryce McMillin. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Warden, Joe Sellman, Gary Kroeck, Charlie Carter and Ted Sellman.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Treva was born July 20, 1943, in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of Paul and Dorothy (Atkins) Whitfield. She graduated from Holden High School and received her undergraduate degree in elementary education from the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg. She was united in marriage to Larry D. Wille on Feb. 6, 1965, in Holden. Treva was a grade school teacher for more than 30 years. She taught the majority of those years in Knob Noster and Warrensburg. She was a devoted sports fan, especially football. Treva also enjoyed following her husband’s and son’s races and her granddaughter’s sporting events.

Survivors include her husband, Larry; son, Dean Wille, and wife, Crista, of Warrensburg; brother, Paul Whitfield Jr., of Omaha, Nebraska; and two granddaughters, Courtney and Claire. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Jo Ennis.
