The University of Central Missouri will play host to its first comedy festival next week.
The UCM Comedy and Improv Club will host the UCM Comedy Festival from 4 p.m. Thursday, April 28, to 1 a.m. Friday, April 29. The event will begin in the Elliott Student Union, Room 235 before making its way to the East Ellis Field and ending at The Bay on Pine Street.
The festival will feature humorous storytelling sessions from faculty and students, comedic short films, a panel on comedy and business, and performances from Kansas City and St. Louis comedians. The night will end with an open mic opportunity at The Bay.
The event is free and open to the public.
