Mules golf bounced back from a 10th place finish in the first action of the spring season with a fourth-place finish at the Lindenwood Invitational at Missouri Bluffs Golf Course in St. Charles, Missouri.
The top-5 finish is the fifth in seven tournaments for the Mules this season. Each of the Mules five golfers finished in the top-35 individually.
Senior Cole Dillon and sophomore Matt Hoemann were the Mules top finishers in a tie for 18th place. They each saved their best round for the end shooting even par and finished nine-over-par.
Sophomore Sam Parrott shot one stroke behind Dillon and Hoemann for a tie in 21st place. He carded rounds of 75,72 and 76. Senior John Bonaobra rounded out the Mules scoring in 23rd place at 11-over-par.
Lindenwood won the team title shooting a 54-hole total of 869.
The Mules will travel south for the Patriot Classic hosted by Dallas Baptist University. The two-day event is scheduled to run Monday and Tuesday at Hackberry Country Club in Dallas, Texas.
