(KANSAS CITY, Mo., AP) — An Australian animal health company plans to establish its U.S. headquarters in Kansas City.
Jurox makes veterinary pharmaceuticals and over-the-counter products, which it sells in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and elsewhere. The company says it’s focusing on expanding into North American markets, with plans to open several regional offices around the U.S.
The Missouri Department of Economic Development said Tuesday that Jurox plans to invest $741,000 in the Kansas City headquarters and create 13 jobs. The state is offering up to $231,000 of incentives through the Missouri Works Program.
