Violet Holbrook, 79, of Knob Noster, Missouri, died Sunday, Dec. 17, at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 22, at Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home in Warrensburg. Interment will follow in Knob Noster Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Richard Holbrook, Max Holbrook, Bob Holbrook, Jack Webb, Kevin Carter and Daniel Holbrook. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.

Violet was born April 24, 1938, in Jenkins, Kentucky, the daughter of Richard and Nona (Belcher) Tackett.

She is survived by her sons, Max Holbrook and wife, Martha, of Knob Noster; Richard and Cindy Holbrook, of Cashmire, Washington; and Bob and Jessie Holbrook, of Rochester, New York; her brother, Jack Webb and wife, Alice, of Rochester; and seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Troy Holbrook; her daughter, Sandy Holbrook; and her significant other, William Rogers.
