(Warrensburg, Mo.) – The Lady Tiger Softball Team won two games versus the O’Hara Celtics Thursday night, 26-0 and 24-0.
“Obviously the scores of the games say it all,” Coach Dylan Hultman said following the games. “The O’Hara players and staff deserve a lot of credit. They are trying to build a program and that takes time. But there was no quit in any of those players out on the field tonight. Every one of them gave effort till the last out.”
Brittany Marr earned the win the first game and Mataya Lowry in the second game. Maddie Rhone homered for the Lady Tigers in the first game.
“We needed to get a couple wins after a couple of losses. We need to keep this going tomorrow,” Coach Hultman said.
The Lady Tigers travel to Winnetonka tomorrow for an all-day tournament. They open with pool play versus Smithville and Winnetonka, followed by bracket play.
