Western Missouri Medical Center will host a free natural childbirth class Wednesday, Sept. 29.

The class is scheduled for 6 to 7:30 p.m. to educate mothers and partners and will be located in Conference Room 1, inside the main entrance.

Soon-to-be-mothers are encouraged to attend this class designed to help mothers and their partners become more educated on the subject of natural childbirth, according to a news release. The class will cover multiple topics including breathing, labor positioning, relaxation techniques and pain management.

Attendees may bring an exercise ball, lotion or massage oils, snacks and water. RSVP to the WMMC Obstetrics Department at 660-262-7514.
