Golf tournament will benefit school playground

The Warrensburg Schools Foundation is hosting its third annual golf tournament on April 19.

The Warrensburg Schools Foundation Alumni and Friends Golf Tournament, sponsored by Scott Solomon of Ameriprise Financial and Quarry City Savings and Loan, will raise money to benefit the Partners in Progress project, the Ridge View Elementary Playground. This is the final district elementary playground to receive safety and equipment improvements.

The registration fee includes a round of golf with cart at the Keth Memorial Golf Course in Pertle Springs, an embroidered Nike Dri-fit golf shirt, appetizer buffet afterwards, and the Lotspeich Automotive Hole-in-One Contest and the Swisher’s Putting Contest.

Teams can register by April 7 at or by calling the Warrensburg Schools Foundation at 747-7823.
