WARRENSBURG, Mo. — Coming off a 24-6 season and and their second straight NCAA Tournament, the Central Missouri Jennies basketball team has announced their schedule for the upcoming 2013-14 season.

Head coach Dave Slifer’s squad will open the season on Nov. 9 at home against Minnesota State before hosting William Jewell on Nov. 13. The Jens travel to Winter Park, Fla. Nov. 15 and 16 to take part in the Rollins Tipoff Classic before returning home to host Evangel on Nov. 26.

The Jennies will head south for a pair of in-region games against Harding and Arkansas Tech Nov. 29 and Dec. 1 before tipping off MIAA play at home against Fort Hays State on Dec. 5.

Central Missouri has 12 home dates on the 2013-14 schedule, including nine MIAA games. The Jens finish the season with four of their final six games on the road before the MIAA Tournament quarterfinals get underway on Thursday, March 6 in Kansas City.

The Jennies will play five games against teams that made the NCAA Division II National Tournament last season.
