(EUREKA, Mo.) — The fifth-ranked Mules golf team shot a second round total of 298 and sits in second place, one shot out of first heading into Wednesday’s final round of the NCAA-II Midwest/Central Super Regional at Fox Run Golf Club.
The Mules have a two-round total of 15-over par 591. They are one shot back of Malone, who sits at +14, 590. MIAA foe Lindenwood sits in third place, one shot back of UCM. There are 10 teams within 12 shots of the lead heading into the final round.
Travis Mays shot a two-over par 74 and sits in a tie for fourth place at even par 144. He is two shots out of second and four shots behind the leader, Michael Colgate of Nebraska-Kearney.
Teddy Jones shot a 77 in the second round and is tied for 19th at four-over par, 148. Cy Moritz shot a one-under 71 in the second round and is in 25th with a 149. Robby Hughey is tied for 49th with a 153 and Alex Springer is tied for 58th with a 154.
The final round gets underway on Wednesday morning.
