(WARRENSBURG, Mo.) — UCM Athletics will honor area individuals and groups during the 2014-2015 football and basketball seasons through the Hometown Hero promotion.

The program recognizes individuals or groups who make a difference in the community and the surrounding area. Heroes Restaurant of Warrensburg is the title sponsor for the promotion, and the Warrensburg Daily Star-Journal is also lending support to the effort.

Hometown Hero nomination forms are available at Heroes Restaurant at 107 W. Pine St., The Daily Star-Journal at 135 E. Market St., as well as the UCM Athletic Ticket Office in Room 101 of the Multipurpose Building and online at UCMathletics.com.

UCM Athletics will recognize the Hometown Hero during all six of the Mules’ regular season home football games and during each Mules’ MIAA regular season home basketball game.
