(SAINT PAUL, Minn.) — Mules and Jennies cross country both had strong showings Saturday at the Roy Griak Invitational, hosted by the University of Minnesota in Saint Paul.
The 20th ranked Mules finished ninth out of 36 teams while the Jennies placed eighth out of 38 teams.
The Mules were led by Tyler Stuber, who placed 16th out of 430 runners with a time of 26:01.3. The Jennies were paced by Megan Glamann, who finished 26th out of a field of 413 runners with a time of 23:32.6.
The Mules and Jennies return to action Oct. 6 when they travel to Fayette, Mo., to participate in the Central Methodist Invitational. The meet is set to begin at 10:30 a.m. It will be the final meet before the 2012 MIAA Championship Cross Country Meet, which is Oct. 20 in Maryville, Mo.
