(WARRENSBURG, Mo.) — The Central Missouri Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will be accepting donations at the Mules and Jennies basketball games on Saturday to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Donations will be accepted prior to the Jennies’ game up until halftime of the Mules’ game on Saturday at the UCM Multipurpose Building. UCM hosts Southwest Baptist in an MIAA doubleheader at 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. Saturday is also Senior Day with the Jennies’ seniors being honored a pre-game ceremony and the Mules’ seniors being honored at halftime of the Jennies’ game.

NCAA Division II partnered with the Make-A-Wish Foundation in 2003 and over that span Division II has raised more than $3.5 million toward granting the wishes of children with life-threatening medication conditions. More than 470 “wishes” have been granted through Division II contributions. Last year, Division II institutions raised over $560,000.
