(SPRINGFIELD, Mo., AP) — The Missouri attorney general’s office says people who bought gift cards from any Missouri Romano’s Macaroni Grill locations in 2014 can receive a refund of remaining balances.
The Texas-based restaurant chain closed its restaurants in Missouri at the end of 2014. The state Attorney General’s Office began looking into the matter when consumers complained about their gift cards balances.
The Springfield News-Leader reports (http://sgfnow.co/1P1IvvB ) that about 500 Missouri consumers are still holding Macaroni Grill gift cards.
The attorney general’s office said in a release that to report a gift card, consumers can fill out the online form at the attorney general’s website. Individuals will need to provide the account number on the back of the card.
