Inez Zink, 82, of Knob Noster, Missouri, died Saturday, June 17, at John Knox Village Hospice House in Lee’s Summit.

Funeral services will be held graveside at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 21, at Knob Noster Cemetery with Brother Charles Brant officiating. The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, June 20, at Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home in Warrensburg.
She was born July 26, 1934, in Knob Noster, the daughter of Frank and Anna (Bybee) Bailey.
She and James Walter Zink were united in marriage on March 27, 1953, in California, Missouri. He preceded her in death on Dec. 31, 1976.
Inez graduated from Knob Noster High School in 1951. She loved spending time with her family and taking care of her home.
She is survived by a daughter, Kathy Johnson and husband, Sheldon Jr., of Cole Camp, Missouri; a grandson, James Davis and his fiancée, Darby Todd, of Warrensburg; and a step-grandson, Keith Johnson, of Pennsylvania.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Randy Zink, on May 31, 2013; three brothers, Keith, Hinton and LJ Burton; and one sister, Agnes Lear.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Warrensburg Senior Center and can be left in care of the funeral home.
