(WARRENSBURG, Mo.) –More than 75 people joined Western Missouri Medical Center and the Warrensburg Chamber of Commerce for an open house and ribbon cutting to celebrate the completion of the new, state-of-the-art clinic for Western Missouri Bone & Joint. This new clinic, located on the WMMC campus in the Medical Office Building at 407 Burkarth Road in Suite 201, attached to the back of the medical center, is now open to patients.

The new location, which reaches 8,711 square feet, allows the practice more room to see patients, featuring 12 exam rooms, two X-ray rooms, three cast rooms and a more spacious waiting room.

Orthopedic physicians, Dr. Greg Bliss; Dr. Damian Mizera; and Dr. Aaron Rupp, will continue to be available to meet the greater community’s health care needs. Western Missouri Bone & Joint also welcomed a fourth orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Christopher Wittgren, to the team in order to meet the growing needs in our region.

In March, the WMMC Board of Trustees approved a $1.5 million construction project to renovate the second floor of WMMC’s Medical Office Building.
