Annual Turkey Trot

$25Warrensburg Parks and Recreation will host the annual Turkey Trot 5K and 10K, Saturday, Nov. 18, 9 a.m. at the Warrensburg Community Center.
The Turkey Trot includes two events, a 5K and a 10K run and walk. The races are for ages 13 and up, ages 12 and under are free to participate with an adult. It will start and end at the Community Center, with check-in time starting at 8 a.m. Packets can be picked up at the Community Center, Nov. 17, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The fee is $25 and registration ends Wednesday, Nov. 15, or register by Saturday, Nov. 11 to get a t-Shirt. First place in the 10K wins a free turkey and first place in the 5K wins a free ham. Hot chocolate will also be served before and after the races.
