(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) – The Central Missouri Jennies Bowling team dropped one spot in the latest National TenPin Coaches Association (NTCA) Poll and is now ranked No. 2 in the country.
UCM had the top spot in the previous two rankings, but dropped to No. 2 in the latest poll behind Nebraska.
The Jennies (86-20) received five of 25 first place votes and tallied 657 points to take second behind the Cornhuskers, who received 14 first place votes and totaled 698 points.
Maryland Eastern Shore, Arkansas State and Vanderbilt round out the top five.
The Jennies completed their regular season with a fifth place finish at the Vanderbilt Music City Classic over the weekend and now await the NCAA Selection Show on March 30 to see if they will receive a bid to the NCAA Bowling Championships. The Championships take place April 11-13 in Detroit, Mich.
