(LOUISVILLE, Ky.) – Jennies Softball junior infielder Braylyn Bivens was named second team All-Central Region by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association on Friday afternoon.

Bivens was one of the driving forces behind the Jennies offense in 2013, posting a batting average of .377 in 154 at bats.

She compiled 58 hits, nine doubles with one home run and 25 RBIs. She also paced the team in stolen bases and ranked third in the MIAA this season, stealing an impressive 24-of-27.

Bivens started all 46 games for the Jennies, splitting time between shortstop and second base. She was also an All-MIAA second team selection as an infielder this season for the Jennies.
